|Sunflower oil||800 gr|
|Walnuts (big crumbs)||400 gr|
|Cinnamon (powder)||2 teaspoons|
|Grounded clove||2 teaspoons|
|Syrup 27°C||up to 2 kg|
Use the flat beater to mix all the ingredients together (apart from the walnuts) at medium speed for 5 minutes. The mixture you get should be in liquid form without volume.
Add the walnut crumbs to the mixture, making sure they are blended well.
Pour the mixture into a baking tray (buttered and flowered), filling it up to ½ .
Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes..
Score the surface as you wish.
Coat with syrup (either cold or hot – preferable amount).
Use cold syrup when the walnut traybake is hot and hot syrup when it is cold.
The amount of syrup you use is indicative. It is not necessary to be used. You can also use half the weight of the traybake of syrup (ie 1 kilo walnut traybake – 500 gr syrup).
